Booker Edwards Jr. is a certified trainer in Logic Pro, the lead audio faculty at the Art Institute of Atlanta and a lead trainer on MacProVideo and Ask.Audio. He founded the Atlanta Logic users group and is known as the Atlanta Logic Trainer in the city and online. Booker is an audio professional that cut his teeth by starting a highly successful independent record label in the late 90s (Illyaas Recordings). During his journey he learned the art of music production using MIDI hardware, specifically the Akai MPC and eventually digital audio workstations and software synths. In the true spirt of an independent label Booker did everything in house, production, arranging, mixing, mastering all the way to promotions, marketing and management. Since starting his record label Booker has also had the opportunity to work in film and television as a music supervisor and composer. He has also produced music for several artists on major labels, most recently producing a song for Atlantic Recording artist Trey Songs, and Good Musics Pusha T. Booker is passionate about all things audio and music and loves to share his experiences and knowledge with others. On a personal level, he is always seeking to learn new and interesting information about his passion. I am a life long student - Booker Edwards Jr.
